Van Huss recognized by Tennessee General Assembly before
third deployment to Iraq

(NASHVILLE, TN), April 23, 2009 — State Senator Rusty Crowe (R-Johnson City) introduced Maine Corporal James Van Huss from Gray, Tennessee on Monday to the Tennessee State Senate.  Corporal Van Huss, who will be returning to Iraq soon for his third deployment in that country, got an enthusiastic round of applause from
State Senators in recognition of his service.

“We are so proud of our soldiers like James Van Huss, who care more about our liberty and freedom than they do their own lives,” said Senator Crowe.  “We are free today because of men and women like James.”

Van Huss was also introduced in the House of Representatives by Rep. Matthew Hill (R-Johnson City).
