(NASHVILLE, Tenn.), March 4, 2015 — State Senator Becky Duncan Massey (R-Knoxville) has scheduled a Telephone Townhall Meeting on Thursday, March 5 to talk to citizens regarding issues before the Tennessee General Assembly and to listen to their concerns. Massey says she also wants to be available to citizens who need assistance with state government services.
The call will take place at 6:00 p.m. EST. Citizens who would like to participate can dial toll free 877-228-2184 and must enter the event identification 112394.
“The legislature is facing decisions that affect all citizens on many important issues such as education, healthcare, public safety, our state budget and job growth,” said Senator Massey. “I want to be open and available to hear from area citizens about these and other important issues. My office will also offer assistance to constituents that call in who need help with state services.”
Senator Massey is Chairman of the Senate Calendar Committee and is a member of the Senate Health and Welfare Committee and Transportation and Safety Committee. She represents District 6 in Knox County.
