Senator Ketron Announces $350,000 in Water System Grant Funds for Ardmore

     (NASHVILLE, TN), November 10, 2011  — Local State Senator Bill Ketron announced today that Ardmore is set to receive $350,000 in Community Development  Block Grant (CDBG) funds to improve the water system.  Ardmore was listed among only nine localities that received water systems block grant in Middle and West Tennessee.

“Clean, safe water is essential to any community,” said Senator Ketron.  “We appreciate Governor Haslam and Commissioner Hagerty for their assistance in acquiring this grant, as well as our local officials for their work on securing these funds.”

“Infrastructure is very important to the well-being of our citizens and the economic development of our county,” Ketron added.  “This is a sizable grant coming into one community.  We are very pleased to receive it.”
