COLLIERVILLE, TN) – Senate Majority Leader Mark Norris (R-Collierville) has received a perfect voting record in favor of pro-family issues according to a conservative watchdog organization which monitors action in the Tennessee General Assembly. The Family Action Council of Tennessee (FACT) released their ratings yesterday regarding the voting records of incumbent legislators who face primary opposition. Norris was one of only two State Senators receiving a 100 percent voting record on conservative and pro-family issues.
“The FACT rating reflects my longtime record of standing up for children and families in Tennessee,” said Senator Norris. “I’m proud to represent the values of the people in the 32nd Senatorial District and will not waiver in my commitment to them.”
In releasing the ratings, FACT said “Every election we are contacted by citizens who want to know how their legislators have voted on a variety of conservative and pro-family issues. They have come to realize that candidates sometimes say one thing at election time and then, once elected, vote another way. That’s why we’ve created this Incumbent Voting Record Accountability page.”
