Norris Receives Endorsement from Small Business Community
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Senate Republican Leader Mark Norris (R-Collierville) has received the endorsement of the National Federation of independent Business (NFIB), Tennessee’s leading small business association. Its endorsement of 56 legislative candidates covering both parties and houses of the General Assembly included Norris, who is running for re-election in the 32nd State Senatorial District.
NFIB/Tennessee State Director Jim Brown praised Sen. Norris for “standing for small business,” citing his perfect 100 percent NFIB voting record. Norris co-sponsored an important bill allowing the formation of small group health cooperatives for the purpose of obtaining health insurance and was a leader of the important 2004 reform package that stabilized that the workers’ compensation market for small business.

Senator Norris represents the West TN Counties of Dyer, Lauderdale, Tipton, and Shelby.
