Senator Jackson announces grant to upgrade sewer treatment for Dyersburg

NASHVILLE, TN, (September 6, 2018)  State Senator Ed Jackson (R-Jackson) announced today that Dyersburg is set to receive a $498,774 Community Development Block Grant.  Jackson made the announcement after receiving notification from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development which administers the grant program under a procedure authorized by the Tennessee General Assembly.

Sen. Watson and Rep. Hazlewood ask TDOT to move swiftly on Highway 127 road project up Signal Mtn.

NASHVILLE –  State Senator Bo Watson (R-Hixson) and Representative Patsy Hazlewood (R-Signal Mtn.) have asked the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) to move swiftly on the Highway 127 project leading up Signal Mountain.  In a sternly-worded letter, the lawmakers asked TDOT Commissioner John Schroer to prioritize the road project due to further deterioration of the road.
