(NASHVILLE) — State Senator Brian Kelsey (R–Germantown) announced today he has partnered with the Tennessee Department of Labor to host a job fair for the people of Shelby County and surrounding areas.
The fair, which will include over 19 employers looking to hire, is scheduled for Thursday, November 7 at the Bert Ferguson Community Center on 8505 Trinity Road in Memphis from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
“I am truly excited to help coordinate this job fair and am grateful to all of the employers who are participating,” said Senator Kelsey. “This event will help those who are currently unemployed find work, and I encourage as many people as possible to attend and see what opportunities for employment are available.”
Interested job-seekers are not required to RSVP for this event. Formal resumes and other job experience paperwork are strongly encouraged.
Employers participating in the fair include: American Income Life, Advanced Services, Cooper Freight, Functional Independence Home Care, Kelly Services/NIKE, Lab Four Professional Development Center, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Memphis Recovery Centers, National Civil Rights Museum, RGIS, Salmon, Snapple/7 UP, Staff Management/SMX, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, St. Sebastians Veterans Services, Supply Chain Solutions, Titan Transfer Inc., U.S. Army Recruiting, and Winchester Bowl.
Senator Kelsey represents Senate District 31 in Shelby County, which includes Cordova, East Memphis, and Germantown.
