Yager Chili Supper to feature “Celebrity Servers”

(HARRIMAN, TN), December 22, 2010 – State Senator Ken Yager’s 15th annual Chili Supper and Silent Auction (R-Harriman) will feature several “celebrity servers,” including Tennessee Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey (R-Blountville).  The supper will take place at the Kingston Community Center in Kingston, Tennessee on Friday, January 7 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Yager said other celebrity servers include Senate Majority Leader Mark Norris, as well as city and county officials throughout the 12th Senatorial District.  Proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to the Michael Dunn Foundation, a non-profit foundation established to support programs for the intellectually and developmentally disabled.

“The Chili Supper and Silent Auction have evolved into a community event,” said Senator Yager.  “I am grateful for this level of support and am excited that we can help the Michael Dunn Foundation in a big way.”

Admission to the chili supper if $5 per person (pre-school children are free) with a limit of $25 for families.
