NASHVILLE, Tenn., (July 25, 2016) — The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Tennessee Manufacturing Association recently recognized Senator Ed Jackson (R-Jackson) with an award for his “leadership and support for business and manufacturing in the 109th General Assembly.” The two organizations work with national and state business allies to maintain a strong, healthy business climate in Tennessee for companies to grow, to profit, to expand and to hire.
Bradley Jackson, Interim President of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry, stated, “The Tennessee Chamber/Tennessee Manufacturing Association is proud to recognize Sen. Ed Jackson for his commitment to pro-business and pro-growth policies during the 109th General Assembly. Sen. Jackson confirmed in his first term in the General Assembly that he will stand with business and manufacturers.”
“I am honored to receive this award and appreciate the opportunity to partner with the Chamber of Commerce and the Manufacturing Association in promoting job growth,” said Senator Jackson. “These organizations have played a vital role in promoting excellence in education and in creating an environment in which businesses can grow and thrive. I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.”
Senator Jackson is presently serving the second year of a four-year term and will continue to represent Madison, Crockett, Dyer, Lake and Lauderdale Counties in the 27th senatorial district when the 110th General Assembly convenes on Capitol Hill in January.
