(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) –– Governor Bill Haslam, Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey, and Senator Rusty Crowe recently joined Impact Plastics President Jerry O’Connor to announce a $1.3 million expansion at their Erwin, Tennessee plant.  The expansion will generate 83 new jobs over the next three years, tripling their workforce.

Lt. Governor Ramsey and Senator Crowe announce 2012- 2013 State Appropriations for Carter County

(NASHVILLE, TN), September 17, 2012  – Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey and State Senator Rusty Crowe (R-Johnson City) announced today that during the fiscal year 2012-2013, Carter County will receive approximately $113.5 million in state appropriations.  The total amount coming into Carter County is over $3.95 million more than last year.

 (NASHVILLE, TN), March 6, 2012  –  Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey (R-Blountville) and Senate Education Committee Chairman Dolores Gresham (R-Somerville) said today they are sponsoring an amendment to tie changes in scholarship eligibility requirements for students attending four year institutions that were proposed by a Lottery Scholarship Task Force to lottery revenue growth.
