(NASHVILLE, Tenn.), February 26, 2015 — State Senator Steven Dickerson (R-Nashville) today announced that he has scheduled a Telephone Townhall Meeting to talk to citizens regarding issues before the Tennessee General Assembly and to listen to their concerns. Dickerson says he also wants to be available to citizens who need assistance with state government services.
The call will take place on Wednesday, March 4 at 6:00 p.m. Citizens who would like to participate can dial toll free 877-228-2184 and must enter the event identification 114052.
“The legislature is facing decisions that affect all citizens on many important issues such as education, domestic violence, our state budget and job growth,” said Senator Dickerson. “I want to be open and available to hear from area citizens about these and other important issues. My office will also offer assistance to constituents that call in who need help with state services.”
Senator Dickerson is 1st Vice-Chairman of the Senate State and Local Government Committee and is a member of the Senate Education Committee and the Finance, Ways and Means Committee. He represents parts of Davidson County, including Belle Meade, Berry Hill, Forrest Hills, Oak Hill, Madison, Donelson, Hermitage, Bellevue, Brentwood, Crieve Hall, Goodlettsville, Joelton in District 20 in the State Senate.
