Sen. Ketron announces approval of two Maury County bridge projects
(NASHVILLE, TN), September 14, 2009 – Local State Senator Bill Ketron today announced that the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has approved two bridge projects in Maury County. The projects were on the Transportation Infrastructure Improvement Bond Program’s phase 1 selection list announced by TDOT on Friday.
“We are very pleased that these projects have been approved,” said Senator Ketron. “Both of these bridge repair projects were needed to keep our road system safe.”
The projects include rehabilitation of the bridge over Little Bigby Creek on Campbellsville Pike (SR-245) and replacement of the bridge over Turkey Creek on Snow Creek Road (SR-247).
“I will continue to work hard to see that improvements are made to our road system in Maury County for the safety of our citizens,” Ketron concluded.
