Six Counties selected for Drug Court Pilot Project

(NASHVILLE, TN), September 4, 2014 —  Six counties have been chosen to participate in a pilot project giving drug court judges access to information in the Controlled Substance Monitoring Database.  The purpose of the project is to give judges the information needed to help ensure participants in drug court treatment programs are successful.

Senator Bowling urges local high school seniors to apply for state’s new Tennessee Promise Scholarship

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.), September 3, 2014State Senator Janice Bowling (R-Tullahoma) today encouraged local high school seniors to apply for Tennessee Promise, the state’s new scholarship program, by the November 1 deadline.   She also urged area citizens to consider becoming a mentor with one of Tennessee Promise’s partnering organizations.
